I always enjoyed his performances.

Holy shit, WHAT? This one came out of nowhere.
by Anonymous | reply 1 | March 17, 2023 8:30 PM |
And while promoting John Wick 4. Sad. Loved him on OZ, what a shit time he had.
by Anonymous | reply 2 | March 17, 2023 8:31 PM |
Dreadful news. I loved watching him too. Just 60 years old.
by Anonymous | reply 3 | March 17, 2023 8:31 PM |
He had such a presence and I thought he was quite sexy, too.
by Anonymous | reply 4 | March 17, 2023 8:33 PM |
IMDb doesn’t even have his death listed yet.
by Anonymous | reply 5 | March 17, 2023 8:33 PM |
Damn! 60 is way too young
by Anonymous | reply 6 | March 17, 2023 8:34 PM |
Awww, that's a shame. Well he was an excellent bike rider, winning all those French races.
I think I still have a yellow bracelet somewhere.
by Anonymous | reply 11 | March 17, 2023 9:02 PM |
He was really good in “The Wire”.
by Anonymous | reply 12 | March 17, 2023 9:07 PM |
Jeez, 60!? Very impressive actor. What a shame.
by Anonymous | reply 13 | March 17, 2023 9:12 PM |
RIP. I'm quite familiar with his face but sorry didn't really know his name.
by Anonymous | reply 15 | March 17, 2023 9:14 PM |
Damn, I hated to hear this. Such a great actor and, by many accounts I'm reading, a wonderful human being. RIP.
by Anonymous | reply 17 | March 17, 2023 9:23 PM |
WHAT????!!!
One of my favorite actors. He was HAF to me. Never saw him give a bad performance, ever.
by Anonymous | reply 18 | March 17, 2023 9:27 PM |
Great in Homicide Life on the Street, Oz and the Wire
by Anonymous | reply 19 | March 17, 2023 9:40 PM |
R10 he really played an intimidating nut job very well!
by Anonymous | reply 21 | March 17, 2023 9:44 PM |
Really sad. What happened?
by Anonymous | reply 22 | March 17, 2023 9:46 PM |
Great actor! Was a bit under the radar but amazing in The Wire, Oz etc. I actually loved him in Bosch. Damn.
by Anonymous | reply 23 | March 17, 2023 9:47 PM |
His heart stopped beating.
by Anonymous | reply 24 | March 17, 2023 9:47 PM |
Loved him on Fringe.
I watched a Comic-Con panel interview with the Fringe cast He was talking about his cast mate Jasika Nicole (Astrid), and he started tearing up because he was so happy to see her character take center stage on the show. He was great at playing a hard ass but seemed like a sweet and gentle person in real life. MARY I know…
by Anonymous | reply 25 | March 17, 2023 9:48 PM |
Gorgeous voice, he always seemed to be playing military officer and looking fine as fuck in his uniform.
by Anonymous | reply 26 | March 17, 2023 9:49 PM |
he posted on his social media...yesterday?

Oh that’s too bad. I remember him from LOST.
by Anonymous | reply 28 | March 17, 2023 9:52 PM |
I used to watch the videos on his Twitter page because his voice was so relaxing.
by Anonymous | reply 29 | March 17, 2023 9:53 PM |
R24 God forgot to wind it.
by Anonymous | reply 30 | March 17, 2023 10:08 PM |
Why is everyone being so cagey about the cause of death?
by Anonymous | reply 31 | March 17, 2023 10:12 PM |
R31 They haven't announced it yet. He's been dead for hours. I'm sure they will eventually, all that has been said was that it appeared to be natural.
by Anonymous | reply 32 | March 17, 2023 10:19 PM |
And yet Keanu [italic]still[/italic] lives...
by Anonymous | reply 33 | March 17, 2023 11:25 PM |
His loved ones better start the campaign for him to be included in the Oscars' memorial segment next year. That race is always tight.
by Anonymous | reply 35 | March 17, 2023 11:49 PM |
Why is everyone being so cagey about the cause of death?
Who have you asked so far, luv?
by Anonymous | reply 36 | March 18, 2023 12:03 AM |
What's weird is that the NYT obituary calls him "MR" Reddick throughout it.
by Anonymous | reply 38 | March 18, 2023 12:36 AM |
Have you ever read the Times?
That's how they refer to everyone.
by Anonymous | reply 39 | March 18, 2023 12:38 AM |
Found dead at his home in Studio City . Suicide pt overdose?
by Anonymous | reply 40 | March 18, 2023 1:19 AM |
Neither are "natural causes."
I'm assuming something acute like a heart attack or stroke.
by Anonymous | reply 41 | March 18, 2023 1:45 AM |
Then the vaccine nuts will Blame that ☝🏼
by Anonymous | reply 42 | March 18, 2023 2:00 AM |
Considering no one dies of "natual causes" at 60, I'll bet you anything it was the psychovirus concoction making him "die suddenly"
by Anonymous | reply 43 | March 18, 2023 2:21 AM |
Plenty of people with heart conditions die at 60, or even earlier than 60
by Anonymous | reply 44 | March 18, 2023 2:24 AM |
r44 He didn't. He was fresh and fit up until the day before
by Anonymous | reply 46 | March 18, 2023 2:31 AM |
Just watching that Bosch episode where his character gets married. So sad.
by Anonymous | reply 48 | March 18, 2023 2:34 AM |
r46 doesn't know how heart attacks, strokes, DVTs, etc. work.
by Anonymous | reply 49 | March 18, 2023 2:38 AM |
Was he Oliver Queen’s stepfather on ARROW?
by Anonymous | reply 51 | March 18, 2023 2:43 AM |
The Wire actors have been dropping like flies.
by Anonymous | reply 52 | March 18, 2023 2:48 AM |
He was great in "Bosch." I do remember how stiffly he walked, though. I remember thinking at the time how tense and over-controlled he seemed.
by Anonymous | reply 53 | March 18, 2023 2:53 AM |
R38 Would you rather they called him MR TIBBS ?
by Anonymous | reply 54 | March 18, 2023 2:55 AM |
Was he double-boosted and infected with covid?
RIP
by Anonymous | reply 55 | March 18, 2023 3:10 AM |
R51 No, dear. That was the other black guy.
by Anonymous | reply 57 | March 18, 2023 5:18 AM |
He had a couple of scenes in underwear on "The Wire". Very hot body.
by Anonymous | reply 59 | March 18, 2023 6:51 AM |
I loved him in Fringe. He had a nice voice too.
by Anonymous | reply 60 | March 18, 2023 10:05 AM |
He's in a funny CC show called "Corporate." I had NO idea he had great comic timing. Loved him.
by Anonymous | reply 61 | March 18, 2023 11:50 AM |
He played a main character in a major video game this last year, too. Horizon: the Forbidden West.
by Anonymous | reply 62 | March 18, 2023 12:30 PM |
A friend went to Yale SoD with him. Lance was a homosexualist. With a large penis.
by Anonymous | reply 63 | March 18, 2023 2:01 PM |
What's weird is that the NYT obituary calls him "MR" Reddick throughout it.
Have you never read an article in the Times before, r38?
by Anonymous | reply 64 | March 18, 2023 2:07 PM |
R63 I think his wife would disagree
by Anonymous | reply 65 | March 19, 2023 11:24 AM |
His loved ones better start the campaign for him to be included in the Oscars' memorial segment next year. That race is always tight.
It’s so scary you replied with that, because I was literally just thinking exactly the same thing!
by Anonymous | reply 66 | March 19, 2023 2:28 PM |
I'll bet you anything it was the psychovirus concoction
What? There’s a concoction for treating psychosis? Why hasn’t it been administered to you?
by Anonymous | reply 67 | March 19, 2023 2:32 PM |
R65 You mean his wife would say he had a small penis ?
by Anonymous | reply 69 | March 19, 2023 3:28 PM |
So drugs right? Natural causes and “he was taken so quickly from us?”
If he had an aneurysm or a heart attack or stroke, wouldn’t they say so, I mean, just to avoid rampant speculation about more lurid causes like drugs or AEA?
by Anonymous | reply 70 | March 19, 2023 4:46 PM |
Idris Elba caught my attention when watching [italic]the Wire[/italic]. However, Mr. Reddick had a nice v-shaped torso. It was a nice surprise when he went shirtless.
by Anonymous | reply 71 | March 19, 2023 7:11 PM |
R65, Rrrrrright. There has never, EVER been a gay man in Hollywood who was married to a woman. Or fathered children, for that matter.
by Anonymous | reply 72 | March 19, 2023 9:47 PM |
Come across this tonight, thought I'd share it with you guys. Awww.

RIP, Mr Reddick. Is it possible he was terminally ill? California has assisted dying laws. Though it is a bit of a stretch to interpret this as natural causes.
by Anonymous | reply 74 | March 25, 2023 4:52 PM |
Every time someone posts the full tweet so we don't visit Rupert Murdoch media property, an angel gets its wings
by Anonymous | reply 75 | March 25, 2023 5:46 PM |
It’s all very sad, he was apparently a great guy, and well loved. He seemed perfectly fine in recent days, promoting the hell out of the new John Wick movie. Hell, just the day before he died he posted a video on his IG hanging out on the couch with his dogs, shooting the shit, and playing that Destiny video game. Probably an aneurism or something like that.
