Fifth Harmony Named Contender For Best New Artist Grammy Nomination

Reflection, the name of Fifth Harmony’s extremely positive rated debut album, is one of this years best pop releases. Not only did it receive a 3 and a half star rating from Rolling Stone but got great critic reviews all around.

From the album comes three platinum selling singles with ‘Worth It’ being their biggest hit to date. Not only has ‘Worth It’ dominated the U.S. charts but worldwide charts as well.

Nonetheless, Grammy nominations can be a bit hard to correctly predict from time to time.

Take for example the Spice Girls. Even though they are the best selling girl group of all time and had
huge albums in the United States, they never managed a Grammy nod – not even for Best New Artist.

Despite that, you never know what may happen until the Grammy nomination list finally comes out.

Billboard named Meghan Trainor and Fetty Wap as firm contenders for Best New Artist but also took into consideration Fifth Harmony.

Whatever may happen, we are rooting for Fifth Harmony and are still hopeful that they will get a Grammy nomination! It would be nice to finally see some girl power on the Grammy’s stage.
