Buenavista Lanzarote Hotel Review | Telegraph Travel

There are just five romantic, kitchen-equipped suites, all with enormous rectangular or circular windows framing the volcanic scenery and an innovative fusion of wooden beams, open concrete, natural light and vintage and contemporary furnishings.

Each suite has a terrace overlooking vines, cacti and drago trees. Inside, you’ll find Bluetooth speakers, candles, bathrobes, professional hairdryers, log fires, books on Lanzarote art and other thoughtful touches. Turquoise-painted distressed-wood doors open onto luxuriously spacious lounges with cosy alcoves; the gorgeous bathrooms make a statement, perhaps painted peach-orange or with a sunken bath gazing out through the window, and have lovely refillable ceramic toiletry pots made by island artisans.

The Suite Norte, reached through a sliding circular door, is most spacious, while the Suite Lagar is a split-level beauty and the Suite Sur a touch more contemporary. The Suite Este and Suite Oeste are set in the old stables.
